Talk Parrots is getting off to a nice start, but we really need a boost of activity and many new members. We're asking you to help promote Talk Parrots by inviting your friends and any other parrot enthusiasts.

Ways you can help out include:

• Putting a link to TalkParrots in your signature on other parrot forums (please be sensitive to the rules of other bird-related communities; they may disallow competitive links. You can freely promote TalkParrots on: The Linnie Forum, Talk Budgies, Talk Cockatiels or Talk Parrotlets without worrying about spamming).
• Sending an e-mail to your friends who have parrots.
• Sending a message (such as a PM) to your good friends on other forums.
• Spreading the word on any social networks in which you partake - Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.

We need your help to turn TalkParrots into a success, and I'm sure you all hope that's what we achieve.

I've actually been promoting the Talk forums and the Linnie forum at the pet shop! :lol: When someone buys a bird or has questions about their birds I recommend they go to the respective forum and do some research so they can learn some great information without asking me 100 questions! :rofl: That and it gives them something fun to do with their bird and get really active in caring for and loving their birds :lovehearts:

I'm glad to see this forum made! I really wanted to join a community that was all about Parrots, but I was a wee bit too occupied with TB. This is just win-win.
