I am impressed with your aviary. We have a couple male zebras and we love them. They keep us entertained with their peeping! I also have a female Bourke named Rosey. shes such a nurse bird, always worried about the tiels and budgies. I am looking forward to hearing about your Bourke's!

My problem was the Bourkes had nested in a finch box so you can imagine how cramped they were.
The problem is solved as she abandoned the eggs which were all dead in shell...I have now given them a bigger box so hopefully they will raise young next time.
I was curious as to how they would react to moving their chicks to a bigger box having not bred them before...As I've said problem now solved.

The aviary is in two halves...half open ...half insulated for winter. It has a small fountain.
