My friend and I went to a big bird fair last Saturday. We had a ball and bought LOTS of great toys (of course!). One of them (which would probably be easy to make) is a little gadget that will hold a cardboard box to the cage for your bird to chew up, explore and play with.
I put it in my Conure, Libby's cage this morning. She hasn't chewed on it so far, but I'm hopeful. I decided to put some of her favorite treats in the box to entice her. She still didn't chew on the box to get to the treat -- this was HER solution! Sweet, goofy birdy!
