I realized I have yet introduced my flock. So far I have 2 parakeets and 2 cockatiels.

They didn't leave there cages they were in them the entire time.

Though, there were 2 crows outside cawing :yikes: LUCKILY they flew over us didn't pay any attention that mine were outside. Good thing my babies were in the cage the entire time.

Plus, it was the last time they were able to head outside untill weather warms up agian. Since weather is getting cold.

First up from outside time is Sunshine and Snowflake(my 2 budgies giving each other loven)

My two tiels Pumpkin*male the split to peid-least thats what I've been told he is) and Ziva my cinamon female.

You are quite welcome. I may be adding some more soon. I'm talking with someone who needs to rehome "tripple quote on this"

"""Purebred 3 year old african congos""" Though, I am waiting for the guys answer there free cause of them needing rehomed and his place where he moved to there policy doesn't allow them. So, if I get a responce for the few letters I responded back(forgot to add a few things to the main responce) I'm waiting for his responce. Trying not to keep my hopes up.

Beautiful flock! Not to be a downer but I wouldn't get your hopes up about the grey. Sounds like a scam.

I hope that you are right but I have a BAD feeling about this. Please Google Camaroon parrot (or pet) scam.

I am on the right side the wife was the one who e-mailed this morning saying they will contact me with there arrival time and to find out my intentions for them. Right know I'm waiting for them to contact me with that.

Though, Eliza, let's both pray that it is not one it's always to good thinking positive before negative if you think of it. Though, the other thing is I saw there add in a local newse paper however fyi.

Tressa - just be sure of what you're getting into. Not that I think it's a scam, but a 3 year old grey can be quite the handful. I know you mentioned that a Military would complete your flock. Do you think you would be OK with a Military AND the Grey wanting all your free time? Do you have the space for two huge cages and two playstands? Can you handle the noise/can your neighbors? As long as you're OK with all that, then go for it

Just be ready for them to potentially be cranky, moody, and not very touchy-feely. Even the best of Greys are only snuggly on their terms, no one elses  And they're VERY smart. I know quite a few Greys who pretend they want scratches just to bite you once you think it's safe, then literally laugh at you

If it is ligit and not a scam Jenny I would only be getting the grays to complete my flock I told the person I did not want to split them. Since they said that they could do that if needed.
Right know I am just waiting for them to contact me through the phone so that they can find out my intentions as well as to let me know when the time for their arrival would be and of course would be before they procide with further delivery reservations for the birds but of course wish to speak with me first before they do all that.

That was from the latest e-mail from them. Oh, and Jenny I should mention the family said they hand raised them so there very friendly and that they love kids. They also said that the female loves having fun with just about everyone. Know of course I do agree with you I don't think it's a scam but, theres always a small chance it could be. Right know in my heart and*over active nerves right know* is praying it isn't

Plus, my question would someone who is scamming you ask these questions here: "Have you owned any parrot before?

Have you any other pet at the moment?

Please can you tell us a little about your family life with pets?

"

when going you've asked someone for information about the bird that they are needing to give up for some reason or another? That was the information they asked in the first e-mail the guy took his time to respond cause I was talking with the family who had them at the time and took time to respond cause they also said they HAD to call and verrifythe service they would be using to transport the birds to where I live and took time to answer with the quotes for the prices for the shipping which is all I have to pay. They also said that the delivery service would contact with the information on how to pay for the birds to get to wehre I live.

And if it's not a real thing I'd safe up for the macaw still. I am keeping some hopes but, I also know I have a back up plan. And there calling is also before they procceed.

That's good :) How many greys would it be?

As I said they did say they didn't mind SPLITTING them up. But, I told them that I wouldn't mind taking both cause in the pics he sent me in the mail he they look like they have a bond so I would probably be getting 2 grays. They also told me that they let you know when the cage needs cleaned by saying "Now Now Now" and the person who I was talking with at the time win the e-mail was the husband. The wife was the one who mailed me this morning on how they said that they would contact me before they proceed with the birds to know my intentions. They also say afew other things as well the female loves to have fun with just about everyone. The other thing that makes me have a funny feeling it's not a scam is because they said that they will also be coming with the Health Certificate, Vet Checked(which means I might not have to quarrientine them), and transphering the ownership papers. He also told me what there names are for what they called them too. By he meaning I was chatting through e-mail with the husband last night. The wife was the one who contacted me this morning about how they said that they would call me before they procceed. Our neighbors do not have any problem with my current 4 but, of course I'd tell them about the new ones too. The ones who might most likely say something about them would be our neighbors closest to my room. Since when there outside and if my window's open they say they can hear my birds they also know I have birds as well. They also will be coming with the cage too. The other clue that I would think its ligit is this bit in the responce that he sent me last night, "We do delivery and its very fast and reliable and the birds get delivered at your home address .we will prefere you come over here and pick them up but guess distance maybe a problem so we can organize shipping which is easier and get them delivered to your location straight to your door steps very safely via a pet and animal
transport delivery agency if only you cannot drive for pickup. ,i hope you are okay about these cuties being transported and home delivered to your location."

and another reason it makes me feel in the bottom of my heart that it's not a scam, "I am glad you are okay about their peculiarities, and i am also
comfortable you are ready to take good care of these beauties. That was
all i needed in someone to let him or her have these cuties"

we also haven't payed for the shipping yet so we haven't lost money just yet. The deal I made with my gran If it's truly real and no scam I told her this. I was like "Gran you'll beable to have my monthly 80$s that I get each month for 5 months to help pay them off" because IF it's true, and real, we'd be needing to use her credit card to pay for the shipping costs when the delivery place calls us.

Plus, little offs subject but, My keet's have one way of telling my male tiel *Pumpkin* to shut up when he starts whisling they start screeching like shut up. giggles.

Good news my MOM IS TALKING to them on her cell right know. Right know we are waiting for the shipping company to call us. However, my mom is going to put my uncle on the phone to talk to the shipping company that way we can make sure it isn't a scam and that it's real my mom said that if it's not a scam then we'll go for it if it is we wont. That is why I give my moms number to certain things or the house number. I always do that that way if its not true she's smarter than I am on that end.

One of the things he will probably ask Are the birds really there waiting to be shipped ect. Will keep you all updated :biggrin5:

ok so to our findings is that it was indeed a scam however my uncle will still be talking with the shipping company when they call(were not that stupid ok I might be but there not) my moms looking at our local online listings. So there is still hope that I will be getting some sort of parrot.

May I ask where you found the ad for these greys? Can you post a link?

Have you seen photos of the greys? If so, can you share it? If not, ask the owners for a photo of the greys with today's newspaper in the photo.

How are they asking for payment: money order? Paypal?

Where are the parrots and where are the owners moving to?

Your pure grey will sport a white face after it's first molt I'm thinking! How pretty, and a nice cage too!
Congratulations!
The cage she is in is my tiels old cage they now have a bigger cage same style but bigger. His her/s name is Sketch from today forward it's a unisex name I won't know fully if it's male or female cause of the moulting. but if it's got more white on it's face then it's male. if the same amount female.
