For a budgie hen to pluck her feathers for a nest none of my other hens ever did that and if shes plucking herself will she pluck the babies?

Some birds will do that, if they feel they need to put more bedding in the nest, and some do it no matter how much bedding you offer them. I don't know if she will pluck the babies or not - I would venture to say no, because the birds I've seen pull feathers haven't plucked their babies but there's no guarantee, you know?

My kakariki often do that. Even the male does. No matter what I give them. I've had budgies do it too. It should be perfectly normal :)
