Oh no! There's rust on most of your cages. Chewing on it will give them heavy metal poisoning, which is almost always fatal unless it's caught very early, and it's very expensive to treat. It's a very long painful death for the poor birds! They really need new cages!

these are only the cages i used to transport them in and today 2 take photos they have a big cage in their room

Don't use it any more at all. It really only takes a little chewing and they could be seriously ill. Get new transport cages for them.

Frikkie looks to be at least 18 months old. He already has his ring around his neck (which they develop at about 18 - 24 months old).

really the breeder told me he hatched sept. i think thats the reason y he is so difficult to tame

That sucks! Yes, he is definitely older than just 5-6 months. I was told that my two budgies were males when in fact they were two females (this was before I knew much about birds)! Sometimes you just can't trust some people.

Frikkie is still very handsome though! I'm sure with patience and time he will come around and trust you.

i am really dissapointed now but i still love him he is not wild he comes out of his cage and loves to play chase i have to chase him obviously gets on the perch so i can carry him around but dont take anything from my hand yet but i am sure we will get there
