Here are pics of my flock. I'll have to do this a few at a time. It won't let me load more than two at a time for some reason.
The first pic is Elliot. He is 8months old and the 2nd is Dolly. she is 12yrs old.
Thanks guys. Well they pretty much keep each other entertained. Most of them are in a bird room and play with each other all day. It is hard making time for each one but I try to spend at least a few minutes each day with each one of them. Some of them like Gypsey & Dolly hardly ever want attention except for me to stand and talk to them for a few minutes. Gypsey though loves for me to sing to her before bedtime and she tries to sing along. I just got Elliot last week and him and Dolly seem to be making friends. I came home from work yesterday to find them sitting on Dolly's cage and talking to each other. Dolly has NEVER liked any of the other birds so this is a big improvement and I'm so happy about it because I worried about her being alone so much. Magic, Kiwi, Petrie & Oaklie all have large flight cages but they are constantly together and if one goes in a cage they all go together. They all sleep together, play together and everything. They are all very bonded. Kiwi seems to lead the pack though. If he doesn't want to give me the time of day, the others will stand behind him and also snub me. Its really quite funny. Petrie is the only one of the four that wants my constant undivided attention. She ignores Kiwi and will love on me at any time. As far as the tiels, Alfie loves attention and is the best whistler I have ever seen. He can mock my bird clock, wolf whistle, and literally mock all the other birds. I'll think one of the conures is screaming and its him instead. Gigi and Zoe just hang out and want nothing to do with anybody. I have wire on the outside of the bedroom window because I was worried about the screen falling out and now that its nice outside they like to sit in the window most of the day. Dexter keeps pretty much to himself and after a few minutes of me loving on him hes always ready to go back to playing. I do work, so I try to spend a few minutes in the morning and evening with each one. When I'm home I usually open up the bird room door and they come out into the LR and kitchen and fly around and play with me. They pretty much come and go as they want to. Its really not too hard. You'll find that most of the time they just want to play and when they want your attention they'll let you know. Alex is 7months now and he's to the point that he just wants to be in the floor playing. He loves to pull the dvd's out of the shelf one by one and play with them and then he likes to lay on the vent on the floor and flap his wings. Its really funny. When he decides he's tired of playing by himself then he will usually come over and lay on my feet for attention. I do manage to find the time for a few minutes each day and when I'm home they always get way more loving and attention than they want. lol I make sure they always have lots of new toys to chew and play with and that helps a lot too.
