Hi - I just joined today. My only parrot-family bird currently is a Rosey Bourke Parakeet named "Twitter". I hope to connect with other parrot owners, especially folks who know about Bourkes.

I have a rosey bourkes, a splendid, a senegal, and a linnie. The bourkes is really my nine year old daughter's bird, and the linnie is really my 21 year old son's bird. Everyone claims the splendid as his/her own bird. No one claims the senegal except me, but she thinks she belongs to my son.

I love to talk about the birds, especially the bourkes. It seems to me several members of this forum have bourkes and other grass keets.
