My most pricy tiel is pearly she came from a store she cost me $109 and she was handtame already my old mans sister cost me $50 she was a hand tame baby my Lutino was $50 not tame but only took a few hours my Diego was $30 he was a hand tame baby. Freckles was supposedly semi tame but she's tame now after a few hours she cost me $10 she's supposedly is 10 years old. And my peaches is a home bred baby I had to milk her crop and hand feed her when she was a baby.

I like all of your tiels, Rachel.
What does the term "milk her crop" mean?

I had to empty her crop but pushing the food in it out. Because she had a crop infection I read they usually die in the process but she lived through it she also had a popped air sac I think it's called where air is in the crop. So I had to deflate her crop of air to. That's why she's tame. :)

Wow! That sounds complicated. I'm glad she survived. You must have been very careful.

I couldn't let her just die because the daddy was overfeeding her when she was born I never milked anything until I had to milk her I'm amazed she lived she was so small compared to her brother and she wasn't growing so I had to take over and help save her life. I hope if I ever breed my tiels again that never happens.

Very nice job. I love cockatiels when they are hand tamed like that. They just are beyond wonderful to hang with.
