I can only suggest that you use some bribery so he will think your fingers are good things. Try some millet or apple and let him eat it from your hand before removing his dishes. Don't shove it at him, let him come to you.

sounds good.thank you:yesnod:Ziggi our black cap is really territorial, of his cage and of me! He attacks me when I change his food/water or try to clean his cage, he attacks when I take him out and put him in. If someone comes near me while he is out he attacks them.
When he bites do not react. Try offering him a treat so that he associates your hand with goodies. Keep talking softly to him and tell him what you are doing. It can be very difficult but is possible! Good luck and keep at it!
