... Pictures? No, please. I'm trying to eat my lunch! XD Well this is going to be a really interesting discussion.

Mochi's poo varies. It's always kind of an orange color from the pellets she eats, but sometimes it's just a ball of solid... poo. No liquid or anything. I like those poos, easy to pick up. Other times it shoots out like water as if she's a fruit eating bird. Those are the ones I REALLY hate.

She also has this strange habit of pooing whatever she can whenever she flies and lands. I don't know why, but it never fails. Fly, land, poo. It's like some sort of ritual, even if she ALREADY took a dump right before it.

Budgies are all the same, bright orange because of the pellets, solid blah blah blah.

Healthy poop.. As long as it's not some really weird color, has polka dots, and not running like diarrhea, it's all good with me.

Unhealthy would be diarrhea, immense changes in size, or color. I've had my look at unhealthy poop, it's kind of hard to miss, but hard to describe.

... This has to be the strangest post I've typed up yet.

HAHA, lentil does that too! i've been assuming that her clumsy landings just knock the poo out of her on impact, as she is not yet 100% flighted (but getting there) and lacks any grace whatsoever.

LOL! That's actually an interesting concept! XD Mochi did that even when she was full flighted, though... So I don't think that was the reason in her case. It's good to know I'm not the only one with a parrot with a strange landing habit.

One of the things that makes me stick with budgies is the small size and relative dryness of their poop. I'll be interested in hearing about all the other types of parrot poop to see if I would ever really consider having another species.

If that's the case, maybe you should look into getting a parrotlet. Their poop is very similar to Budgie poop, except smaller.
