It was just as good in 2D as in 3D tbh. Like sometimes in 3D it was a bit too much (maybe cos I'm short sighted *shrug*). Still an AMAZING film.

Also watching 9 now.

Zombieland lately. Bloody (haha) awesome.

LOL, watching it in 3d made me a bit diiiiizzy! :giggle: I really liked it in 3d though, it gave it a certain something. Thats possibly why it's such a BIG film.

Finally saw Avatar!! Other than the parallels to Pocahontas (including the indian cheif's voice!) and wondering how on earth the mech suit could have a boot knife, it was AWESOME! I highly recommend seeing it in 3-D! It's not the sort where it pops out of the screen and makes you nauseous, so much as it's like the 3-D hologram pictures you tilt up and down to get dimension out of. There's just depth to the movie, the character in the foreground pops out a bit compared to the ones in the background

I saw It's Complicated and enjoyed it. Some very funny parts but also some sad ones as well. I saw it with my husband and we had totally different perspectives about this movie.

Some movies i've watched recently:

Avatar(2D) - it was really good, and that's coming from someone who isn't a fan of super long movies!

The Lovely Bones - It was ok, i think they could have done some parts a little better but overall it wasn't too bad

Hatchiko - Really good, i recommend it to all dog lovers. I watched it online though(shhh).... apparently it came out in December but i never saw any previews for it...

i saw some others to but i cant think of them at the moment...

That's the cartoon one.

Fantastic Mr Fox.

Really un-fantastic. According to IMDB boards, you kinda have to like Wes Anderson to like this film, cos of his style. Didn't really find it funny, apart from his son, and even then, it was a small laugh. It was also a long 120mins or however long it is. Don't understand why it is so highly rated, really didn't like it that much, unimpressed.

2/10

Precious. 6.5/10

Saw it. It wasn't as shocking/emotional as I thought it was going to be. I expected to cry a lot, but I didn't. Only in a couple of scenes. And I found the scene with the mum and Precious and the counselor ended quickly - like a scene was cut or something? And in the class - there was just a new classmate? Wtf?

It was good, but not entirely what I expected. Mo'Nique was great as the mum.

Shutter Island 8.5/10

so good. it made me feel bad because i had always under-rated leonardo as an actor. without giving anything away, it makes you question sanity i guess. the way it ended was very sad.
