Nikki passed away on sunday night, i'd thought she looked a bit under the weather and a little lethargic, so i was planning on making a vet appointment for monday...because my avian vet isn't open on the weekend..turns out Nikki was sicker than we thought..

i think it may have been the stress of moving combined with maybe a genetic defect, as thats why her feet were deformed. she was a pet store bird and I'm fairly sure theres a large risk of inbreeding...

anyways, I'm glad she was with us and in a good home when she died, fly free Nikki <3

I'm so upset! I thought she was doing so well....

I'm so pleased she was able to live out her last days in such a caring home.

Now that she is over the rainbow bridge, all her deformities will be healed, and she will be healthy and happy.
