well i had my eyes set on a Cremino and a yf1 opaline skyblue and my dad said ... YES he felt bad after Mumbles passing and seems to think its his fault for getting the ACV so late , but i told him nothing could of saved Mumble. So we were waiting for a 14 year old girl to choose and get her budgie...budgies so i went to talk to my sister about the 2 i was going to get and i guess the girl heard me since she told the lady she had changed her mind and to get the two i wanted .... i was so rotted .

So i turned around and started to play with the clipped budgies in a big tank ( i dont know what youd call it hehe ) when i seen a yf2 cobolt male.... just like Mumble. I was going to get him , i was this [ ] close! but i realized that i only wanted him on impulse ( looking like Mumble ) so that was a no go.

At this point my dad was fed up , and showed me a yf grey , possibly mauve and i fell inlove. BUT i was still ticked off over the girl who just happened to walk by me and said ' he's cute ' in a snikering voice to her mom. so i turned around and walked straight out the door.

On the pulse side! i got the book Alex & Me , im half way threw the second chapter , its wonderful! and this is coming from a non book person

also , my dad picked up this wicked bird bath for Mimzy and Chibi-Chibi

its pretty big , ill save it for their xmas gift, but besides that they had next to no budgie friendly toys :/ beside a play gym that cosst nearly $30 and it wasnt even that nice....

I am sure you will find the bird(s) you want, later, but how very frustrating for you now.

I feel sorry for the birds the girl took home. It seems she took them just to annoy someone else, possilby someone she didn't even know. That makes me wonder what kind of a parakeet parent she will make.

That bird bath is pretty cool!! I love the design, and I'm sure Chibi Chibi and Mimzy will love it!

That is a very mature reaction on your part to hope the girl is happy with her new birds, also, sweet of you.

That is a really cool bird bath! Do you know what brand that is? It looks like something my GC would LOVE.

You will find your perfect little fids when the time is right. I looked for a while before finding Meep. And even when I did, I wasn't sure. But when I could not sleep or think of anything but her after a week and a half, I caved and went to the store, praying she'd still be there. She was, and they gave me more of a discount on her than I originally was told! If it's meant to be it will happen.
