What does your cage set up look like?

I always love seeing other people's cages :giggle: It always helps give new ideas to people and inspire people to try new things with their cages

I have my linnies in an 18x18 Clean Life cage right now, though they'll be upgraded to a King's Cage that is 24x20 :D One of the perks of my job - customer donated the cage because they didn't want it and I snagged it! They love their boing I added a few weeks ago as well as their happy hut! Anything they can shred and bury themselves in is a hit!

My parrotlets are in the same, 18x18 though they will get an upgrade when we have the cash. We're looking into the HQ Flight for them ;) They love to shred and destroy everything! And bells... they love to attack and beat up their bells :yesnod:

My tiel is in a 24x18 cage which was another snag from work :giggle: I don't have a picture of it, though, just got it 2 days ago! He's not that in to his toys, he's a 9 year old rescue who never had toys. He does love to chomp on cuttle bones ALL the time!

How about everyone else? What kind of cage is your bird in? Any cage brands/models you recommend for a new owner as the best for a species? Any fun tips/toys you think a small bird absolutely HAS to have?

Oh wow, such a nice set-up! Does everyone get along housed side by side?
Jenny said it all for me and was kind enough to send pics of my guys in their cage! Thanks Jenny!
No problem Mom! :lovehearts: gonna have to get out of the habit of calling them 'my' parrotlets!
Nice set ups , my cages are side by side and some on the other side of the room.

My lot are all in seperate rooms, although they do spend lots of out of cage time together. The breeding cages are what I let them hang out on/in when they're on the back porch or outside in the sunshine :)

Wow nice cages Enna! Huge! And laden with toys! Looks fun!
I will take a few minutes after posting to reflect upon how awesome your setups all are.
Mine changes a lot, and thankfully the birds don't mind it one bit, so it allows variety.
Typically, in my work room...

I usually will have one or more birds at my desk on a homemade perch though.
My Meyer's is still relatively new and has some of the "neglection" instinct in him, so he will occasionally lunge at my phone or fingers when attached to the phone. What a little warrior.

I change things up a bit because I need to give them all time to roam free out of their cage, and even Supervised I won't leave the Meyer's in the same room as the smaller guys.

Here are my 2 cages ..I have them in the living room. I have a parrotlet in one and a budgie in the other...they are HQ flight cages, both the birds and I love these cages.

wow guys! great cages
Hi there,

Can I ask you about that cage in the middle?? How do you like it? I am looking at one that looks similar.

Vicki
Great setups everyone! I don't have pictures but my budgies are in a large flight which is 4' long x 2' wide x 3' high and it has two smaller cages connected on the top that the budgies can access from the flight.

And I have two breeding cages, one is 24"x18"x18" and the other is 28"x16"x32".

I'll try to get some pictures :p
