Just out of general interest what does everybody else keep?

I have various cold water fish
A dog (border collie)
A snake (corn)
A rabbit (dutch)

But yeah, I have tons of birds and not that many other animals!

I have:
3 dogs
14 year old dachshund, Dudley - dumbest dog in the world and, according to the vet, the healthiest 14 year old dachsund he's ever seen
10 year old standard poodle, Jamal - smart, smart, smart dog, and as obedient as he is smart
3 year old miniature poodle, Teddy - recent rescue so the jury is still out on this one, lol
5 llamas
14 year old Lou Ann, 14 year old Flintstone, 13 year old Tiramisu, 12 year old Rhapsody - all were excellent performance animals in their day and know how to pull a cart, pack, etc.
3 year old Vinne - sweet and trainable but so far hasn't been introduced to a cart

My son has his two cats here indefinitely, until he moves out. I don't claim them as mine, but they are really good cats, although I would NEVER let them around the birds whatsoever.
Tobu is a 12 year old Japanese bobtail.
Tinkerbell is a grey stray - maybe 4 years old?.

And all of my birds.
Stanley - probable female bourkes, will be 2 in April
Roni - female senegal, will be 2 in March
Elisa - probable female linnie, will be 3 in June
Daisy - female maximillian pionus, was 14 in September
Shira - female green cheeck, will be 1 in May
Ashlynn - female congo grey, will be 1 in June

And soon to come home
if everything works out for an adoption - Aurora, female umbrella cockatoo, will be 5
unnamed blue parrotlet, gender unknown, hopefully to arrive in bird store this Saturday! 3 weeks old (This is a bird my daughter is getting for herself. She thought it necessary since I now have 3 birds of my own and may soon add the cockatoo . We should not go to the bird store together!)

MY birds are Roni the senegal, Ashlynn the grey, and Shira the green cheek. Then, if I adopt the cockatoo, she will also be mine, although Cannary keeps telling me she is claiming her, too, lol.

Cannary's birds are Stanley the bourkes and Daisy the maximillian pionus. She wants to name her parrotlet Lily if it is a female. She is not yet sure of a name if it is a male. She still plans to get a Cape when she is in high school, lol.

The linnie, Elisa, is actually Paul's bird. However, I do not expect him to take her with him when he does move out. He might, but his cats would always have to be separated from her. She likes him best, but she is very good with me, too. Also, she is very attached to Stanley. For this reason, I expect him to leave her here, but if he wants to take her, she is his.

Cannary is really too young to have any idea what she will like as an adult. I know that. This is why I initially got her a parakeet that shouldn't live much longer than after she gets out on her own. At this point she is really into birds, though. She tells me she will take both Ashlynn and Aurora, if we do adopt her, when the time comes. I SHOULD outlive both Roni and Shira, but if I don't outlive Roni - Paul and Cannary tell me they are NOT taking her.

Jenny that's cool :) I didn't know you had a snake! I knew you had a snake in the past. What sort of pionus does your mom have? And what birds are you planning on having in the future?

As well as all my birds I have 4 dogs and 1 cat.

Socks the cat is just over 8 years old, male nearly all black with a white belly and white socks on front legs and white stockings on the back. He is great with both the dogs and the birds, he doesn't even hunt wild birds. He has a lovely nature and has been here since he was 8 weeks old.

The dogs are Tramp (father) and his three children. Oldest child Fat Boy who will be 5 on Valentines Day. My little valentine baby. His younger sisters Miss Piggy (4) and Monster (2). I did have 2 more Petey and Munchie brother and sister. I lost Petey last year and Munchie only last month. Munchie was the mother of the children. They were both over 10. Tramp will be 12 on the 19 April. They are all Terrier X, and I have bred them all.

5 Horses
1 Cat
2 Kittens
7+ Turkeys
1 Dog

Also a Possum who lives in our backyard. She comes down to the balcony every night for food, we hand-feed her! (she is very friendly, doesn't bite and is really gentle when taking food from you) My mum named her Mavis. :giggle: She has been living in our backyard for the past couple of years and last year she surprised us with a baby. :D

I've got 2 cats, a tropical fish tank and a HUGE pond full of koi

Daisy always catches Mitzi my one cat climbing over the fish pond net. We also get a huge heron that wont leave the fish alone. Hence the net :p

We used to have a ton more variety of animals, including fish, cats, hamsters and other rodents, and dogs, but since I have so many birds and my siblings aren't very interested in animals like I am, we only have my birds, a hamster and my dog, Samantha.
