When it is a Hyacinth!
"Who's that chap over there? Seems new..."
"Weird feller. He don't walk, talk nor move, but he looks just like us!"
"And he's got some kind of perfume going on too!"
When I discovered that these lovely blue-hued macaws were called Hyacinth Macaws (after their blue coloration, of course) I felt I needed to refresh my mind as to how the Hyacinth flower looked. And then it all came back to me -- like a long-forgotten dream -- one of the first ink and watercolor artworks that I exhibited in a solo gallery showing was entitled "Scent of the Hyacinth." This art piece basically initialized my fine art career, and it was a duo of charismatic macaws that helped me with this special memory of the past for me. Endearing. Yes!💙That chap over there expires every year and then pops up fresh and new each Spring .... weird macaw eh?
