Every day Ziggy is learning her tricks. She's so good at them now, so I made a video of all her best tricks. I didn't include some because, being a typical parrot, she wouldn't perform them on command!

Haha, looking at some other MB conures, she's actually pretty big by MB conure standards! Look at how huge she looks in my hand!

Watch at the end as she waves goodbye!

Well, here you go... Ziggy's tricks.

Perhaps this summer I will take the time to train mine a bit.

Roni should be great with tricks. She is very smart and loves attention.

Strange as it may sound, both the bourkes and the splendid are quick learners. I trained Stanley to turn around in three fifteen minute sessions, and I only worked with Isaac for one fifteen minutes session, but he was further along at the end of that session than Stanley was at the end of his first session, although not yet turning in a full circle.

I know you have put in a great deal of work.

She is absolutely precious! You did a great job training her.
Thank you.

It's really fun teaching them tricks, and very satisfying when they can do them on command. Ziggy still sometimes needs the visual cues though, like following my hand for 'turn around' and sometimes 'flip'

Good luck, I can't wait to see how the tricks turn out! I bet they'll do great.
