Crested Gecko Baby!

The breeder that I got Gaia from finally had a couple of Cresties hatch out in the last week or so! I'm SOOO excited as I've been waiting forever for them to hatch (or what seems like forever)!

I'll be putting a deposit down on the baby as soon as they're a bit older and Krystal has decided which one she is going to keep.

This is one of the babies, the one that I want, although it might not be the one I get. :( The other one looks the same but doesn't have as much beige on it's tail.

I'm going to be so impatient while waiting for the little one to come home. It'll be at least a couple of months before he'll be ready to leave the breeder!

Thought I'd share my excitement with you guys. :D

Don't worry, my red tail parents are on a bunch of what appear to be infertile eggs so I have to wait until next year!

I agree! I think this one will be a stunner, although that'll probably mean that Krystal will want to keep the little one. :( Oh well, as long as I get a happy, healthy Gecko that's good enough for me. :D

Thanks Meghan! I think all Cresties are super cute so I think I'll be happy with whatever one I end up with. :) I would be very happy if I got this little guy though!! :D

So I haven't really researched crested geckos much but can they stick to anything? I think it would freak me out a little if it could climb straight up any object! I would be afraid of losing it! :lol:

That is what the little one is doing in the picture. ;) He isn't standing on the floor. ^_^
Most Geckos have sticky pads on their feet so they can climb pretty much anything.
