I have bought this:
Tidymix Pulse & Rice Soaking Mix - 2Kg
A delicious blend of 13 ingredients. Our soaking mix has brown rice and whole wheat grain as well as 11 different pulses, peas and lentils, easy to prepare and a great source of protein and very high in natural nutrients. Suitable for all bird types.
Ingredients: Soya, Aduki, Mung, Pinto, Blackeye, Haricot Beans, Corn Chick, Grean and Yellow Peas, Puy and Red Lantils, Wheat, Brown Rice

To try with Rocky, all the instructions say are the soak for 12 hours in boiled water rinse thoroughly and either fed raw or cooked.

I was under the impression thats certains beans were toxic when fed raw?

Has anyone here fed any of this? If so how did you feed it.

I've been soaking some for a day or so now, keep changing the water and rinsing it every couple of hours.

Is this safe fed raw? It is not softening up, I am tempted to cook some but how long do you all cook beans for?

Also if I sprouted some would it still be unsafe? I have read somewhere that once sprouted it is fine to feed raw?
